Hello and welcome!

I am a licensed and board-certified psychiatrist practicing in New York.

I offer comprehensive psychiatric care, including therapy and medication management tailored to your needs. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practice, with a focus on your overall well-being.

I provide support for a wide range of mental health concerns. My approach involves an integrated style that incorporates elements of psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and mindfulness. All sessions are up to 45 minutes, allowing for in-depth, personalized care.

I specialize in holistic treatment, including medication deprescribing when appropriate. I also offer integration sessions for those exploring psychedelic experiences. My practice is inclusive, with expertise in global and cross-cultural mental health.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the structure of your sessions?

During the initial 60 minute visit, I will gather a thorough medical and psychiatric history, and focus on what issues need to be addressed. Subsequent sessions are up to 45 minutes long.

Do you provide therapy?

Yes. My sessions can also be used as therapy sessions, which is why they are 45 minutes long. If you have your own therapist, there is no need to use the entire time, but it is available to you.

Do you prescribe medications?

Yes. However, I do not prescribe any psychedelic medications (i.e. ketamine, psilocybin, MDMA), but I do provide pre- and post- integration therapy.

Do you offer in-person sessions?

At this time, all sessions are virtual.

How often will we meet?

Usually once a month, but it can be more frequent if you are seeking therapy as well. For those who are stable on their medication and have their own therapist, appointments can be made quarterly.

Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance, but I am happy to provide you an invoice for out-of-network benefits. Please inquire for fees.

I look forward to potentially working with you!
